Refund Policy

The Journal of Emerging Technology and Digital Transformation (JETDT) strives to provide high-quality publishing services to all authors. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which JETDT will offer refunds for its various services.

1. Article Processing Charges (APCs):

  • Full refunds: will be issued if a manuscript is rejected before peer review commences.
  • Partial refunds (50%): will be issued if a manuscript is withdrawn by the author after peer review starts but before the final decision, provided a formal withdrawal request is submitted before the decision is communicated.
  • No refunds: will be issued once a manuscript is accepted for publication, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or cancellation.

2. Open Access Fees:

  • Full refunds: will be issued if the author requests cancellation of open access publication before the article is published online.
  • No refunds: will be issued once the article is published online as open access.

3. Other Services:

  • Full refunds: will be issued if a service is not delivered as promised due to an error on JETDT's part.
  • Partial refunds: may be issued at JETDT's discretion in other cases, such as technical difficulties or unexpected delays.

4. General Conditions:

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the JETDT editorial office within 30 days of the relevant event (e.g., rejection notification, acceptance notification, service completion).
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
  • This policy is subject to change at any time without prior notice.
